# Partner rewards
Partner rewards are discounts and perks from partners, for example 20% off at a sports or lifestyle brand. You'll find them under **Program \> Partner rewards**. At the top you can see how many partner rewards are active.
**Why switch on partner rewards?**
- **Extra value at no cost:** the partner provides the discount, so you give your members something extra without paying for it.
- **More variety:** members have more to spend their points on, which makes saving more appealing.
- **Ready to go:** the Authic rewards are already set up. Just switch them on and choose the number of points.
- **Relevant to your audience:** you pick the partners that suit your members.
- **Your own local partners:** you can also add your own partners, like a nearby sports shop, wellness centre, hairdresser or drinks shop. Tip: agree on a fixed prefix for each partner's discount codes (for example SPORT-), so they can see which customers came through you.
Not every brand is available to every business; some are specific to a country or industry. New partners are added regularly.
## Activating Authic rewards
Authic rewards are ready-made rewards from Authic's partner network. All you need to do is switch them on.
1. Go to **Program \> Partner rewards** and pick a reward under **Authic rewards**.
2. Turn on the toggle in the bottom right of the card. The **Activate partner reward** window opens. Click **View terms and conditions** to read the partner's terms.
3. Under **Required points**, enter how many points members need. For partner rewards, you set the points yourself.
4. Optional: make the reward exclusive to certain groups, or choose a **Category** so members can find it using filters in the app.
5. Click **Activate**. The reward is now live in your programme.
Not every partner suits every audience. Pick the ones that fit your members.
## Your own partner rewards
Got your own deal with a partner? Add it via **Add partner reward** in the top right. Your own partner rewards appear under **Custom rewards**. You handle the partnership; Authic takes care of the rest.
Adding your own partner rewards is available in some of our packages. Not sure whether yours includes it? Get in touch with our team or your Customer Success Manager.
The **Create partner reward** form works the same way as the voucher form (see **Voucher** above):
1. **Card Details**: the partner's logo (white and transparent), photos, business name, name, short description and the partner's website.
2. **Reward Details**: description, Terms and conditions and an explanation of how members use the code (How to redeem). How to redeem comes with a ready-made set of steps that already includes the partner's name.
3. **Reward Values**: the number of points (you set these yourself), a start and end date and the maximum number of claims per member.
4. **Reward Codes**: upload a CSV or Excel file with unique discount codes from the partner, or use a single multi-use code for everyone.
Then click **Create**.
