CRM ideas (CRM only)

The loyalty ideas above work for everyone. With the CRM you add a layer on top: you know who your customers are, you can reach the right people at the right moment, and you can send emails as well as push notifications (see Contacts and Campaigns). The incentive stays the same; the CRM makes sure it lands with the right people.

Win back customers before you lose them

  • A win-back ladder: use the Win back inactive members automation to reach members who haven't visited in about 30 days, with a small incentive like double points on their next booking. For members who've been away 60 to 90 days, create a dynamic segment on Last visit date and send a campaign with a stronger offer, like a free drink or a free hour with a friend.
  • Set your own thresholds: 30, 60 and 90 days are starting points. A padel club where members play every week needs a shorter window than a clinic with a treatment cycle of a few months.
  • Comeback month: in September, send a win-back campaign to everyone who hasn't visited since July, with the goal Win back so you can see how many came back.

Turn customers into members

  • Invite after a booking: the Turn customers into members automation invites customers to your loyalty programme after they book.
  • Start with your best non-members: create a segment of non-members with the most bookings or highest spend in the last 90 days, and send them an Invite to loyalty campaign with bonus points as the incentive.
  • Bring in your existing customer data: import your current customer list under Contacts, so you can invite everyone from day one.

Make your best customers feel special

  • VIP early access: use the VIP customers segment template (your top 10% by spend) and give them access to a promotion 24 hours before everyone else, for example on Black Friday.
  • A thank-you for your top customers: send your VIP segment a personal email with an exclusive offer they can only claim from that email.
  • Ambassadors: create a segment of your most active members and send them a push notification about your refer a friend challenge. They're the most likely to bring in friends.

Get to know your customers

  • Collect more data with a challenge: use Collect more member data on the member profile to create a challenge that asks members a question, like their preferred time to play or their skin type. Use their answers to build segments and send each group an offer that fits.
  • Build a segment with AI: describe who you want to reach in plain language, for example "customers who booked at least 3 times in the last 60 days, but not in the last 14 days", and send them a targeted campaign.
  • Use custom fields: add your own fields to contacts, like a membership type or a home location, and use them in your segments.

Make every send count

  • Plan big moments in steps: a teaser email 2 to 3 weeks ahead, the main email 5 to 7 days ahead and a last-chance push notification the day before. For example a Mother's Day gift email 2 weeks ahead and a reminder 5 days ahead.
  • A second chance for non-openers: send a follow-up to members who didn't open your first email, using a segment based on campaign engagement.
  • Channel priority: choose Send once using channel priority, so each customer gets the campaign on the channel they're most likely to see, with email as a backup.
  • Make it personal: use tags like in your push notifications and emails.
  • Pick the right goal: every campaign has a goal, like Drive bookings or Promote a reward. Choose the one that matches what you want to achieve, so you can see what each campaign brings in.

Events and groups

  • Points for event participants: upload a list of participants as a static segment and give them all points at once under Manual points.
  • Follow up after an event: send the same static segment a thank-you email with photos and an invite to the next event.

Always-on automations

Set these up once and let them run:

  • Welcome new loyalty members: a welcome message or gift when someone joins, with a short explanation of how points and rewards work.
  • Celebrate members' birthdays: a personal message with their birthday reward.
  • Win back inactive members and Turn customers into members, as described above.

More automation templates are on the way.
